The hotel is located close to the beach in Salinas, Ecuador, 144 kilometers from the city of Guayaquil and the international airport (about a 2-hour drive).

The hotel has 95 rooms (68 double rooms, 10 apartments, 3 Junior Suites & 14 Master Suites). Each room has a private bathroom with a hot shower, shampoo dispenser, hair dryer, safe, air conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar, radio alarm-clock, and telephone. The rooms overlooking the ocean have a balcony.

Services & facilities:

There are 2 restaurants, one buffet restaurant (which is included in the all-inclusive package), a sushi-bar and a BBQ area (not included). The hotel has 2 swimming pools, a solarium, and Spa area with a sauna, Turkish bath and massages. Barceló Colón Miramar has four event rooms with a capacity for up to 200 people.
